This value chain involves the cultivation of grass, its use for grazing, its processing into valuable products such as protein (mycoprotein), biomaterial (fibres), biofertilizers, biogas and the utilisation of byproducts generated throughout the production and processing stages. This value chain encompasses grass cultivation (Farmers Circle manages about 400 hectares of grassland, of which 300 hectares are dedicated to sown grassland), biorefinery processing (production of protein (mycoprotein) and biomaterials (fibres), fertiliser production), value-added product development, waste management, logistics and distribution.
