The ARGONAUT project participated in the DPP4EU Conference in Brussels (June 16–18, 2025), the flagship European forum focused on advancing Digital Product Passports (DPPs) across sectors and technologies.

On the second day of the conference, Milenko Tošić, Innovation Director at VizLore Labs and ARGONAUT consortium member, presented the project during the session on “Emerging Technologies for DPPs.” His talk, titled “Development of the Digital Bio-product Passport for Environmental Impact Assessment in Bio-based Value Chains,” highlighted the project’s pioneering integration of AI, blockchain and data spaces to enable sustainable, traceable, and regulation-ready bioeconomy value chains.

The conference provided a unique platform to connect with other EU-funded projects at different stages of DPP implementation. For ARGONAUT, which launched in January 2025, this was an invaluable opportunity to gain early insights from more advanced initiatives. It also strengthened the project’s alignment with emerging EU regulations and industrial practices in realizing DPPs and the role of emerging technologies in their enablement.

The DPP4EU experience reinforced ARGONAUT’s commitment to building an AI- and blockchain-enabled ecosystem that empowers SMEs, supports green innovation, and accelerates the digital transition of Europe’s bioeconomy.
